Around five million workers are exposed to hand-arm vibration (HAVS) in the workplace. Two million of these workers are exposed to levels of vibration where there are clear risks of developing permanent physical damage. Hand-arm vibration comes from the use of hand-held power tools and can be the cause of significant ill health (painful and disabling disorders of the blood vessels, nerves, joints and muscles of the hands and arms).
JUMP was commissioned to design and develop an online web based solution that manages and generates all the required reports for the effective management of hand-arm vibration within an organisation.
