Originally from Leicester, Chloe grew up in Thailand, where she first got into graphic design by creating posters for local events. This soon turned into freelance work, and at 18 she moved to England to study Graphic Design at Northumbria University. Knowing almost nothing about the North East but drawn to the fun (and affordable) city, Chloe started to really love Newcastle during her degree, and after graduating, landed her first agency role and decided to stay in the city.
Four years on, Chloe’s design experience spans hospitality, charity organisations, utilities and the education sector, her favourite projects being branding and campaign design. She’s now excited to be back working in the city centre as a Designer at JUMP, looking forward to developing her illustration skills and weaving them into the variety of projects that come through the studio.
Outside of work, Chloe enjoys making the most of living by the coast - running, swimming on sunny mornings, or meeting friends for a walk. She also loves exploring Newcastle’s food scene, always keen to try up-and-coming restaurants and gradually ticking off a never-ending Notes App list of the new places. Similarly, she likes to travel - with a focus on finding the best spots to eat in every new city. At home, she’s often working on a painting or watching a crime documentary - usually both at once.
