Designer
Mya entered the creative industry as a Designer at JUMP in 2025. She has always known she wanted to work in the creative industry, and her fine art background shaped her enjoyment of combining traditional techniques with digital tools, often starting with physical elements before transforming them into polished visuals.
Mya comes from a family who always encouraged her creativity (and patiently accepted the mess that came along with it). From a young age, she was always making something, whether it was drawing, painting, or crafting with whatever she could get her hands on.
She went on to study at Northumbria University, where she transitioned from a fine art background into graphic design, despite being a complete novice. During her first year, she was awarded the Vaughan Oliver Scholarship and in 2024 graduated with a First Class Honours degree. She joined JUMP after graduation, knowing a fast-paced agency would be a great fit for her.
Her favourite part of design is creating a wow factor, not only at first glance but also when people take a second look and notice the finer details, followed by hearing “wow, that’s clever.”
At JUMP, she is eager to continue asking questions and developing her skills while working on projects that push her creativity and deliver meaningful, impactful results.
Outside of work, Mya loves travelling and often chooses destinations based on architecture and the street art scene, with the local cuisine playing an important (and delicious) supporting role. She is also passionate about makeup artistry, which she sees as another creative outlet. Much like design, each look comes with its own brief, its own process, and the satisfaction of a well-executed final result.
